Ladies: 292m

Trees overhanging left and right of the left hand dogleg
11th hole provide a challenging tee shot out of the chute
from the mens' tee.
The ladies can play straight down
the fairway from their tee position 57 metres ahead behind the 10th green.
|
|
The
relative shortness of the hole should provide
opportunities for high handicappers.
However,
the tee shot has
to be good to avoid thick rough to the left and sandy lies
among the bushes to the right.

|
Like
most holes at Collie Golf Club, the green is slightly
elevated to ensure good drainage.
This can make it
difficult to hold the green with the approach shot,
particularly anything coming in low. |
|
As
with the 10th hole, the back of the 11th is to be avoided
at all costs.
Hard
packed, grassless lies under the shadow of the trees
combine with the back to front slope of the green to make
the return chip a tricky proposition. |
