The 10th tee is directly in front of the putting practice
green, which in turn is in front of the club house,
ensuring an appreciative audience for errant
tee shots.

|
Kangaroos
near the dogleg provide the occasional hazard!
However,
it is
more likely that trouble will be found through a hooked
drive into thick rough, generally meaning at least another
three shots to the green - or through a high slice off the tee,
which may come to ground on the nearby 12th green. |

|
The
10th is a relatively short but far from simple par
5, with a left hand dogleg half way down the fairway.
A
good drive well to the right of centre will open up the
second shot, although most players will find their second
shot is a mid iron across the corner, leaving a mid
iron approach to the undulating green.
|
|
Difficult
sandy lies and trees close to the edge of the fairway
penalise poor mid and approach shots, while the
green is protected by four small bunkers to the left.
Of
more concern, however, are approach shots which overshoot,
leaving a difficult lob back to the downward sloping
putting surface from hard packed lies behind the green. |
